LifeWorks Essay Competition
This year, some of our pupils took part in an annual All-Ireland essay competition organised by LifeWorks. This competition encourages research and critical thinking on right-to-life issues from pupils in Year 12 - Year 14.
Our students discussed the words of Mother Teresa; “we need to realise that poverty doesn’t only consist of being hungry for bread, but rather it is a tremendous hunger for human dignity.”
As a school, we have been fortunate to experience the classroom talks hosted by LifeWorks, who facilitate the opportunity for our pupils to explore the value of life and the dignity of every person.
