Rathmore were delighted to participate in the third heat of the Concern Debates. On Thursday evening the team travelled to the proposition, St. Louis Grammar School, Kilkeel. Rathmore opposed the motion, “Nike should be applauded for standing with Colin Kapernick”. The team included Matthew McAteer (captain), Sarah O’Neill (second speaker), Caroline Loughlin (third speaker) and Matthew Colquhoun (fourth speaker). The adjudicators awarded Rathmore a 2-1 win commending both teams for their good team work and impressive use of sources. We look forward to our final Concern League Debate against Friends, Lisburn on Monday 26th November in Rathmore.
