On Thursday May 11, our Upper VI pupils gathered with their parents and teachers to celebrate their time in Rathmore and mark their final gathering together as a year group. Fr Eddie McGee, from St Mary's University College, encouraged our pupils to let their light shine and to enjoy the journey of life; taking time especially to bring life to others. Our foyer was decorated with lanterns representing each pupil, together with their individual photos taken during their first days in Rathmore. This represented the night's theme of giving thanks to all those in our school community who have helped to nurture and kindle our light. Giving thanks especially to our families and teachers who have encouraged and helped us to develop our talents and abilities, whilst realising the new challenge, to utilise these gifts in the service of those most in need of help and justice throughout our future lives.
