Frequently asked questions
When, where and why?
Saturday 8th February 2020 in Titanic Belfast. Join us for a Prosecco reception at 6.30 pm followed by a three course meal and dancing 'til late.
The event will be compered by Frank Mitchell with entertainment provided by The Untouchables feat. Brian Giffen.
The evening is designed to better connect past pupils, teachers, parents and friends of Rathmore and to raise awareness of the many ways our Alumni and Friends can support our school and help provide every opportunity to our pupils.
There will be a raffle and auction on the night - keep an eye on our Facebook page,
www.facebook.com/RathmoreAlumni, to see what you could win!
Is there a dress code?
Nothing says Titanic, Belfast, quite like a tux.
But don't get your black tie in a twist; this is a night for fun, dancing and nostalgia. So, relax, whether it's a tuxedo with bow tie, dark suit with black tie, long formal dress or a short cocktail dress, wear whatever makes you feel good and get ready for a night to remember!
Can I sit with my friends?
Nothing says school reunion quite like the trepidation of not knowing whether you'll be seated beside your best friend.
Worry not, we'll do our best to ensure you're seated at a table with your friends. Tickets purchased together (online or in school) will be seated together.
Please feel free to book a table of ten by nominating a
Lead Ticket Holder. When the rest of your party is ready to purchase their ticket, we will add them to your table. Please remember to indicate the lead ticket holder at the time of purchase.
Please feel free to indicate the year you left Rathmore e.g. Class of 1984 and we will try, where possible, to seat you with others from your time at school.
Who is the event for?
Our inaugural Alumni and Friends Gala Ball promises to be a night of fun, friendship and nostalgia. The most important person to bring is yourself!
We are looking to reach out and rekindle our relationships with everyone and anyone who has a connection to our school, whether past pupils, parents, partners or staff - past and present, young and young at heart. We want to make contact and reconnect with as many people who value the vision of our school and who want to support us in supporting our young people to have every opportunity that is available to them.
Please join us and share in a wonderful night that celebrates our story, our chapter in history and our writing of a new page as we officially launch our Alumni and Friends initiative.
