Work Experience in Bonn

Eight of our AS students of German will travel on Saturday 14th January to take up work placements in Bonn. While there, they will stay with families of pupils from our partner school, the Nicholas- Cusanus Gymnasium. The work placements have been organised as part of an exchange programme between our two schools.
Olivia Campbell and Sean McGloin will shadow doctors at the hospitals in which they have been placed. Angela Foster will do her work placement with a dentist, while Niamh Marshall will work alongside a vet in Bonn. Amy Hayes is really looking forward to spending a week working at a radio station “Radio Bonn”, Patrick Toner is looking forward to his work experience in an institute for astronomy and Ciara Bannon and Conor Keenan are hoping to learn a lot during their work placements in two leading insurance companies in Bonn.
We wish our eight pupils a safe journey and a very enjoyable and worthwhile experience in Bonn!
