Past-pupils return to Rathmore to talk to Sixth Form German students.

Conall Devaney and Mark Crossan came up to school on Friday 16th September to talk to our Sixth Form students of German. Conall graduated from Queen’s in July with a degree in German and History.  He has been awarded a scholarship to study for a Master’s Degree in Politics at the University of Passau in the South of Germany.  He begins his course next week – Mach’s gut, Conall! Mark has just completed his placement year at the headquarters of Allianz in Munich and begins his final year of Actuarial Studies at Queen’s. He tells us, though, that he is returning to Munich for a short break this week before term starts – could this have anything to do with the Oktoberfest, which began on Saturday 17th?
