French Department
The French department aims to develop the pupils’ ability to use French effectively for the purposes of practical communication in an enjoyable and stimulating environment. The pupils’ understanding and awareness of French speaking countries, people and way of life are heightened and positive attitudes to French speakers and other cultures are encouraged. School trips are organised on a regular basis and Year 8 pupils have the opportunity to interact with our “assistante” Maryannick who organises the French club.
